We’re looking for a talented Alumni Relations, Marketing and Communications Executive to join the Fisher Family and help build a lasting legacy for decades to come. Founded in 1929, The John Fisher School remains a Local Authority run school with an alumni that rivals the private sector. From film stars, to international sportsmen, CEO’s to award winners, you will have the opportunity to help build on the work that has already been done to engage with alumni. You will enjoy meeting alumni to understand what they are looking to achieve in their relationship with the school and then help craft it.
You’ll have a passion for increasing traction around our website, social media and online presence. Having previously been involved in events, design and advertising would be a benefit.
The important thing for us is having the right person, so we welcome applicants with a background in any of the aspects covered in this role. The working patterns can be designed to fit jointly, the needs of the school and yourself.
The role is varied and offers scope for the right candidate to build, develop and extend it.. We want someone who believes that they can grow this role, and team, in the next 2 years. John Fisher is an oversubscribed 11-18 comprehensive school with 1155 students including 223 in the Sixth Form. We are located just outside Purley town centre and a 15 minute walk from the train station (27 minutes from London Bridge and 20 minutes from Gatwick Airport).
