What is the role?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Content Producer to produce creative, entertaining and innovative content across the club’s digital channels, focusing on the Women’s matchdays. The role would involve coverage of home matches but may also include occasional away games.

The role will include posting on, and potentially managing, social media channels on matchdays, as well as producing written content for the club’s website. You will assist with various aspects of content production across the club’s social media channels, including game updates, photos and videos.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who can find engaging ways to showcase the Women’s Teams success, telling the story of each side and the people within them. Occasional interviews with players may be required, as well as capturing social-based video content with members of the squad.

To thrive in this role you should possess strong written and communication skills and a knowledge of the football media industry, while being comfortable appearing on camera and working with the squad. You will have good networking skills to build relationships with co-workers to produce high quality content and will be flexible to work evening and weekend matchdays as required.

The competencies which are required include:

Essential Experience:

  • Experience in journalism or related sports media field, either as a student or graduate.
  • Experience of editorial content production across digital platforms.

Desirable Experience:

  • Content production for digital platforms for a sports organisation or brand.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Relevant media or journalism qualification, either graduated or currently studying.

Essential Skills:

  • Good writing skills, with a keen eye for accuracy.
  • Good understanding of social media platforms and how to use them.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
