This role will lead on developing and executing best-in-class, innovative & effective paid media campaigns. The role reports to the Consumer Engagement Manager and sits within the team connecting sectors from across PR, CRM, creative & social.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Media campaign management from briefing, execution, through to the performance analysis, optimisation, and future recommendations.
- Working closely with our agency and key media partners on identifying best practices and uncovering industry innovations
- Execution of campaigns’ paid strategy – delivering media excellence across brand’s key tactical moments with focus on driving efficiencies and effectiveness cross campaigns
- Reporting and reactive day-to-day analysis of live campaigns, finding optimisation solutions and working with broader team on implementation (creative, audience, set-up)
Campaigns’ strategy ideation and execution
- Translating brand’s strategy and positioning to the UK media landscape’s opportunities, relevant touchpoints selection and set up
- Driving campaigns addressing upper funnel objectives (Awareness, Consideration), building through to performance led KPIs and focus on driving effective co.uk and retail revenues.
- Applying comprehensive approach to optimising media and digital channels through the consolidation of industry best practices.
- Elevating Clinique’s internal data analysis to inform the content or targeting strategy, unlocking the value behind these learnings
- Making informed channel selection decisions, backed up by the breadth of available data including past performance, broader corporate effectiveness analysis or available industry learnings
- Close collaboration with our media agency on finding right optimisation of the live campaigns, for the potential challenges or opportunities as well as consumer trends are integrated and considered.
- Managing and briefing campaigns set up (including tagging, catalogues set up), creatives readiness and controlling the deadlines to ensure all campaigns meet their planned timelines
- Cross team collaboration including, but not limited to, creative and data departments, uncovering ways to unlock media effectiveness
- Contributing to the brand’s post campaign analysis, ensuring presented findings are refined to meet needs of the audience
- Supporting internal teams with media expertise across retail media planning and executions
- Collaborating with Creative, Ecommerce, Data & Insights and Marketing teams to ensure we address holistic brand approach and elevate available recourses
- Developing a comprehensive paid media strategy in collaboration with our media agency partner across touchpoints including social, PPC, programmatic video & display, plus traditional media (AV, OOH)
- Ensuring our media agency stays up to date with Clinique plans (opportunities or threats) to enable external team to react to the business needs and allow for the agile cross-channel planning
- Leading reoccurring statuses with our key media partners like Meta, Tik Tok, Snapchat + relevant publishing partners
- Leading weekly status calls with our media agency, aligning on priorities and controlling delivery of the campaigns, addressing essential changes when needed
- Collaborating with Clinique’s Global team on innovative media tests and implementations supporting business with new learnings
- Managing the evolution of the media channels, staying ahead of the industry innovations and driving learnings for the brand
- Leading innovative plans and test & learns agendas to drive effectiveness of the brands’ campaigns
- Identifying new ways of addressing market challenges
- Keeping up to date with the ever-changing social media landscape and share developments with the wider team
- Collaborating with Clinique’s Global team on innovative media tests and implementations supporting business with new learnings
- Ensuring accuracy of our POs and media agency’s alignment on available budgets and priorities
- Collaborating with internal finance team to ensure understanding behind our budgets and work closely on delivering accuracy of our monthly projections
- Supporting CE manager by overseeing the annual media budget, being able to provide internal teams with media KPIs and estimations
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESFUL IN THIS ROLE
- Social media and programmatic performance management and analysis experience
- Strong experience in the media space including technical skills, audience segmentation and reporting
- Proficient understanding of media fundamentals, passion for industry innovations and strategic planning capabilities
- Experience in campaign briefing and media budget management
- Traditional media and PPC past exposure/expertise
- Familiarity with industry tools usage including Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Google Ads
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
