DCC is seeking motivated and talented individuals to join our team as Degree Apprentices in Cyber Security.
This apprenticeship program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of cyber threats, risk management, and information security practices, ensuring you are well-equipped to contribute to the evolving field of cybersecurity. Successful applicants will be placed within existing teams in the Security department, such as Security Operations, Security Architecture & Security Assurance
What will you be doing?
As a Digital & Technology Solutions Degree Apprentice in Cyber Security you will have the opportunity to develop a strong foundation in cybersecurity while simultaneously working towards a recognised degree at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU).
What are we looking for?
To qualify for the MMU Apprenticeship Degree – by 2nd September 2024 you must:
- Be 18 or older (there’s no upper age limit – we also welcome applications from individuals looking for a career change, or a new challenge!)
- Have the right of abode and right to work in the UK to qualify for funding
- Meet course entry requirements. Applicants should have a minimum of 104 UCAS points at A-level (grades BCC) or an equivalent (eg BTEC DMM). You also need GCSE Mathematics and English Language (grade A*-C / 9-4) or equivalent
- You must be capable of obtaining Security Check (SC) vetting level as required for the work being undertaken for the DCC
