We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our WeQuote team. As a Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping our brand identity and visual communication efforts. You will collaborate with our marketing, product, and design teams to create visually appealing and effective designs that resonate with our target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Graphic Design: Create visually stunning and compelling graphics for various marketing materials, including but not limited to, digital and print advertisements, social media content, brochures, flyers, posters, banners, infographics, and website elements.
Brand Development: Assist in the development and maintenance of our brand identity, ensuring consistency in design elements and messaging across all platforms.
Visual Content Creation: Produce eye-catching visuals and illustrations that enhance our digital presence, including social media posts, email campaigns, and website assets.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and content creators, to understand their design needs and deliver creative solutions.
Typography: Select appropriate fonts and typography styles that align with the brand and message.
Image Editing: Edit and retouch photos as needed to enhance the overall visual quality of marketing materials.
Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, design software, and tools to ensure the use of the latest design techniques and best practices.
Opportunity for Skill Development: We are a tech company that offers an opportunity for you to expand your skill set beyond graphic design. You will have the chance to learn and contribute to UX/UI design projects, gaining valuable experience in user experience and user interface design.
Feedback Integration: Actively participate in design critiques and incorporate feedback to improve designs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role.
- Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects.
- Excellent creative and artistic skills.
- Strong understanding of design principles, colour theory, and typography.
- Attention to detail is a must and the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and web design principles.
