What You’ll Work On
- Digital Strategy Development: The primary responsibility is to develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy.
- Team Leadership and Management: Overseeing a team of marketing professionals, the Head of Marketing is responsible for hiring, training, and managing staff. This role requires strong leadership skills to guide the team towards achieving marketing goals.
- Content Creation and Management: Developing a content strategy that aligns with the company's brand and marketing goals. This includes overseeing the creation of digital content such as blogs, videos, and social media posts.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilising data analytics tools to track campaign performance, analyse consumer behaviour, and make data-driven decisions to optimise marketing strategies.
- SEO and SEM Management: Managing search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) to ensure high visibility in search engine results, driving traffic to the company's website.
- Social Media Management: Developing and executing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement on various platforms.
- Staying Updated with Digital Trends: Keeping abreast of the latest digital marketing trends and technologies, and adopting new ideas into the company’s strategy.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Utilising CRM systems to understand customer needs and tailor marketing efforts accordingly.
- At least 5 years experience working in marketing, with at least 2 years in a senior role
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Proficiency in various digital marketing channels and techniques, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Data Analysis and Analytics: Ability to interpret and leverage data from various sources to make informed decisions. Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and other data analysis software is crucial.
- Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with business goals. This includes setting clear objectives, identifying target audiences, and choosing the most effective tactics and platforms.
- Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire a team of marketing professionals. This includes hiring, training, mentoring, and managing team members to achieve collective goals.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Able to work in a fast paced, start-up like environment where adaptability is essential.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Identifying challenges and obstacles and finding effective solutions to overcome them.
- Able to work from our London Head Office 5 days a week
