Magnet is looking for a motivated marketing analyst to review marketing channel performance, support the 'Voice of the Customer' work and assist the business in making informed insight/data-driven decisions.
Magnet is going through an unprecedented transformation placing design and customer delight at the fore. Having insight into what is appealing to customers is key to this transformation. We are looking for a motivated analyst to join us on this exciting journey as we look to reposition the Magnet brand and make Magnet the most loved kitchen brand in the UK.
Reporting to the Head of Insights and sitting within the Marketing Department, you will be at the heart of the team working alongside the marketing team helping assess campaign performance, and providing customer insight to the wider business.
This is a pivotal role and a rapidly growing function within the business; cross-department collaboration is key as we drive the transformation of Magnet.
What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Head of Insights, the Marketing Analyst will support by using multiple data sources to assist the business in making informed insight/data-driven decisions.
The Marketing Analyst role plays an essential role in analysing marketing and customer data to measure Magnet's performance across a number of commercial and customer metrics, highlighting areas of opportunity.
While this role reports to the Head of Insights, this role works across the whole business including Magnet Retail, Magnet Trade & Magnet Projects.
Strong excel skills are key for this role and experience while Tableau and Google Analytics is a bonus.
Key responsibilities:
Marketing channel performance * Reviewing marketing channel performance harnessing GA4 (Google Analytics 4), working with data agency to deliver reporting dashboards.
- Reporting back to the marketing team on the performance of campaigns and highlighting areas of opportunity
- Day-to-day oversight of tracking, ensuring data tracking is in place and pulling through correctly.
- Identifying trends across our business and within the wider market by analysing multiple data sources.
- Manage the day-to-day 'Voice of the Customer' reporting, which will help us better understand what our customers like and where we can improve.
- Help in the creation of standardised insight reports, using both qualitative and quantitative data gathered from a variety of sources.
- Provide regular research on our markets, products, and competitors to help us remain a market leader and drive positive business performance.
Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data and highlight areas of opportunity
Collaboration: Working in partnership with departments across our business to understand their requirements.
Agency liaison: Helping develop research briefs and guiding data agency in the provision of data and reporting dashboards
Platform experience: Support data reporting harnessing various sources such as tableau, search console, SAP, content square and excel
