To profitably drive traffic to Character.com’s online stores through a range of paid marketing activities helping to increase brand awareness, sessions, conversions and overall revenue.
This role is critical in helping Character.com achieve its ambition to be the World’s No.1 retailer of Character clothing and delivering our brand promise of inspiring kids to feel good and express their unique identity through our ‘happy clothes’.
The right person for this role will need to have a genuine interest in data analysis mixed with the commercial acumen to apply that in a real world business and marketing context. You will need to have a thirst for numbers and be curious by nature to find potential opportunities. You’ll work across paid media channels including Google, Facebook and Amazon where a curious mindset and an ability and hunger to learn is more important than years or experience.
The candidate will work closely with all other areas of the marketing team including Trading, Ecommerce, Brand and CRM, as well as across functions including listings and merchandising.
Key Accountabilities:
- Support the Performance Marketing Manager to manage all PPC campaigns across Google, Amazon, Meta and Tik Tok including:
- Budget management
- Daily optimisations
- Monitoring bid strategies & evaluating strategies.
- Evaluating compelling ad copy & briefing designer to develop effective creative.
- Identifying trends, opportunities and areas of concern
- Conducting regular keyword research and harvesting new keywords
- Competitor analysis, Keeping up to date with platform changes & industry trends.
- A/B ad copy tests, using performing trends to your advantage.
- Reporting on ad performance across multiple platforms.
- Performance analysis to optimise bid strategies improving CAC / ROAS
Skills and Behaviours
Essential:
- Support the Performance Marketing Manager to manage all PPC campaigns across Google, Amazon, Meta and Tik Tok including: Budget management

Desired:

- Some experience of managing online sales through paid marketing campaigns (Amazon, Google, Facebook) would be great but not essential
- Experience using analytical software such as Google Analytics or similar
- Able to use design software such as Photoshop & Canva.
