About the Job
Sales and Marketing Director.
The primary responsibility of this role is to reinforce the market-leading position of I Holland worldwide by delivering the ambitious sales growth and profitability targets of the group, both in value and volume.
This will be achieved through geographical development of inactive countries and increased market share in active countries thanks to effective and efficient marketing initiatives and sound management of the sales team composed of Heads of Technical Sales, Technical Sales Managers, and an established network of agents.
The Sales & Marketing Director will have 3 main areas of responsibility: (1) the development of the Sales & Marketing strategy of I Holland; (2) the execution of the Sales & Marketing plan; (3) the effective management of the marketing team, sales team and agents.
This executive position will work closely with the Board and Executive Managers to achieve I Holland's goals and he/she is expected to have an extremely positive and can-do attitude, a strong work ethic and to protect I Holland's interests in all situations.
Principal duties & responsibilities
1.2 To develop the macro forecast by product line and micro forecast by customer in cooperation with the Finance Director.
1.3 To identify focus markets, target customers and the associated sales strategies.
1.4 To develop a detailed sales plan including specific sales targets by customer, product and market as well as performance metrics targets for team and agents. The plan will also include all the supporting marketing activities.
1.5 To generate Sales & Marketing expenses budget.
1.6 To create Sales & Marketing policies supporting the strategy.
2.2 To monitor, report and analyse progress in achieving the defined objectives in the plan, including
2.4 To participate in problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
2.5 To set the standard of professional proposals and ensure they are presented in all key opportunities.
2.6 To manage sales travel expenses within corporate guidelines and budgets.
3.2 To manage his/her direct reports and agents ensuring that activities are coordinated, and priorities met.
3.3 To provide training, advice and assistance to direct reports, agents and any other employee requiring it.
3.4 To conduct regular review and strategy meetings with direct reports and agents holding them accountable for agreed tasks and responsibilities.
3.5 To conduct annual appraisals of reports and develop colleagues.

- Execution of the Sales & Marketing plan

- Sales & Marketing Board Report (monthly)
- Quarterly Sales Analysis
- Quarterly Sales Plan Updates

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Engineering degree (BSME preferred) or demonstrated equivalent technical capabilities.
- MBA, marketing, or management diploma
- Ten (10) years field sales experience in B2B.
- Five (5) years of experience in export sales
- Formal consultative sales training
- Formal sales management training
- Management and mentoring experience.
- Satisfactory test results in qualification process.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal communications skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in product knowledge (within one 1 year of position acceptance).
- Proficient in territory knowledge (within one 1 year of position acceptance).
- Knowledge of relevant foreign languages.
- Present professional image.
