Meet Our Founder
James, founder of The Hidden Market and JGP Search, has spent over a decade building marketing, digital and commercial teams for ambitious companies across financial services, technology, insurance, and beyond. His experience spans boutique executive search, large recruitment firms, and leading international assignments from mid-management to CMO level.
James is a an expert in AI systems & building AI workflows, specifically in relation to recruitment. This knowledge has lead to the foundations & growth of THM & how we're able to help you as a candidate finding a role or as a business looking to hire.
With a background in economics and a career dedicated to helping professionals and companies succeed, James launched The Hidden Market to create a platform where talent and opportunity meet on equal terms.

Our Story
After more than a decade working in recruitment and executive search, placing senior marketing, digital and commercial leaders globally, we saw the gaps in the system. Candidates were frustrated, businesses were underserved, and both sides were left with a poor experience.
In 2020, we launched The Hidden Market — with a simple mission: improve recruitment outcomes equally for professionals and employers. Our platform combines modern technology with human expertise, giving people and companies a fairer, more transparent and more effective way to connect.
We're proudly independent, self-funded & have grown organically. We too have developed our tech in house & are very pleased with our progress to date - whilst we're striving to be the best we can be.
