What is a Digital Analytics Manager?

As a Digital Analytics Manager, you will manage all the analytics of the businesses digital assets and specialise in insight, tagging or optimisation. You are responsible for managing the digital tagging environment in order to collect accurate and relevant data to measure user behaviour and digital performance. We require your to analyse website performance and deliver insight to stakeholders supporting key decision making and drive effective change. You will improve the customer journey and identifying and testing opportunities for improving the customer experience. The role is very much a metric driven role where you will test and learn to see what is working and continually evolve and optimise campaigns. 

    Digital Analytics Manager Job Description:

    We are recruiting for a Digital Aggregators Manager to report to our Head of Digital Marketing. This is a newly created role in order to focus on managing portal relationships across aggregators and partnership channels.

    You will ensure that our businesses presence on portal sites is optimised and delivering maximum value, and requires you to provide campaign support across our digital acquisition, conversion rate optimisation and retention campaigns.

    Digital Analytics Manager Responsibilities

    • Managing all analytics across all web channels including the measurement and analysis of website performance, identifying problem areas and testing opportunities to improve customer journey and optimisation
    • Manage all analytics input into the testing roadmap and projects, deliver digital reporting and insight to the wider business
    • Develop automated reporting suites and eye catching dashboards, ensuring suitability for relevant stakeholders
    • Support stakeholders with informed decision making through insight and analysis, influencing and bringing new innovative ideas and recommendations to them
    • Monitor and measure tests – evaluating results – looking at conversion lifts, commercial impact and customer insight
    • Ensure a high standard of data integrity through accurate and relevant tagging and tracking

    Digital Analytics Manager Requirements:

    • Likely 3-5 years of digital analytics experience
    • Extensive experience with Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
    • Ability to communicate complex data and ideas into digestible information
    • Experience in user journey analysis 
    • Experience working with data visualisation tools and reporting tools such as Tableau
    • Experience working with multi-channel digital data
    • Building relationships with stakeholders at all levels
    • Experience in tag management
    • Appreciable experience in Digital marketing, ideally including working with Aggregators
    • Ideally experience in a similar industry
    • Comfortable working with data, analysis and reporting
    • Calm, proactive and confident demeanour
    • Ability to be flexible, and adapt to new marketing techniques and leverage trends
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
