We are seeking a Digital Events Manger who is responsible for planning, launching and managing the businesses events. Their duties include researching, strategising with other professionals and creating events and the associated audience engagement, video production and content creation, social media management, data management and user experience management. 

Digital Events Manager Responsibilities

 

  • Ongoing operational and strategic support of existing event processes related to event nominations, communication, and digital event platforms
  • Support and deliver high-velocity events programs, managing multiple stakeholders
  • Manage day-to-day communications with the client.
  • Project manage event execution across all key program areas, including nominations, email, website, speaker prep, video, event platforms set-up, etc.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with client teams and internal discipline leads.
  • Ensure all work is accurate, follows event process and meets brand standards
  • Build a positive working relationship of the partner agencies active on the business
  • Develop strong relationships with both our clients and your counterparts on the Event, Strategy, and Creative teams
  • Be intimately familiar with the digital event landscape including product, market conditions and competitors - share intel, creative, articles, etc with your teams. Immerse yourself in the essential dynamics, strategies, and drivers of successful B2B events 
  • Engage in meaningful discussions with clients and partners to take actions to improve their experience and process working with Media.Monks
  • Demonstrate passion for the agency, the work and the client’s business.
  • Lead all productions within your area of responsibility; participate in productions and support the Event, Creative and Production teams in any way possible.

Digital Events Manager Requirements 

  • Likely 3-5 years of experience in a Digital Events Manager or similar
  • Likely degree educated to BA/BS or equivalent working experience
  • Strong capabilities in the area of event management, project management or executive administration
  • Strong organisational skills: excellent ability to multitask and stay abreast of multiple projects at one time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to quickly react to new/urgent requests
  • High energy, detail-oriented person, with a go-getter, positive attitude; comfortable working autonomously and within groups
  • Experience working directly with clients to build strong relationships and create a positive experience that helps meet client's business expectations and needs
  • Effective verbal, written, and presentation-related communication skills around project planning and status, roadblocks and, when needed, alternate courses of action 
  • Proficient with Google Suite for Productivity products
