Location: Farnborough, This position is Office Based. Salary: Up to £45k DOE *Full UK Driving License required* Are you looking to take the next step up in your 3D career? We are looking for a creative, driven, and talented 3D Designer to join the fast-paced environment our creative team thrive in at Tecna. To succeed in the role, you will ideally have the right combination of technical expertise, artistic licence, and 3D visualisation skills. The role is based at our office in Farnborough, Hampshire and you’ll be an important member of the creative team reporting into the head of creative and working with a wide variety of well-known commercial brands. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong design skills and the ability to think creatively, by generating innovative ideas and solutions, and exploring the different resolutions to a brief. They must be able to take an idea and translate it into a compelling 3D design that both tells a story and achieves a client’s goals. They must then use pricing matrixes to produce an estimate with input from the wider team. The ability to create artwork for print is beneficial. Day to Day:Translate ideas, sketches, and written client briefs into exciting 3D designsIdentify client’s brand, target audience, key messaging, and market position to ensure concepts align with their goalsAttend client meetings to aid in the successful capture of a project brief alongside the sales teamPresent concepts, mood boards, floor plans, and renderings using creative storytelling to explain design intentUse pricing processes to produce accurate cost and sale estimations alongside the sales team, including accessing the knowledge of the wider business where estimates require itStay up to date with industry trends, technologies, competitors, materials etc.Skills and Experience: Essential:SketchUp and V-Ray experience essentialPresent a strong portfolio demonstrating visualisation abilityClear understanding of design intent, technical build capabilities, and the impact of H&S regulations and on-site considerations on project outcomesAbility to work under pressure and independentlyExceptional eye for detailCommercial awareness to work within client budgets guided by the sales teamGood communicator, strong ability to listen, reflect, and act on briefs and feedbackGood knowledge and ability to use the Adobe suiteExcellent organisational skills – ability to manage multiple projects and ensure time is utilised efficientlyExperience with Sketch Up and V-ray preferredComfortable working in a collaborative environment with input from multiple stakeholders working towards a unified goalDesirable:Proven track record of design experience in the event industryAbility to sketch/illustrateAdditional 3D visualisation software and animation skills advantageousAt The Hidden Market we're committed to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, read our policy here.
