Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Adult Neuro Rehabilitation Speech and Language Therapist to join a specialist team in Surrey. This rewarding role involves supporting adults with acquired brain injuries and complex neurological care needs, delivering high-quality speech and language therapy interventions tailored to each individual.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Band 6 or 7 therapist with a background in neurorehabilitation and a passion for person-centred care. You will be part of a forward-thinking and supportive service, making a real difference in adult neuro rehab outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Deliver specialist speech and language therapy assessments and interventions for adults with neurological conditions.

• Support patients with acquired brain injuries and other complex neuro conditions.

• Manage a diverse caseload, independently and effectively.

• Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure holistic and coordinated care.

• Utilise evidence-based practice to support communication and swallowing needs.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation in line with professional standards.

• Contribute to service development and clinical innovation within the neuro rehab setting.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).

• HCPC registration and eligibility for RCSLT membership.

• Proven experience working with adults in neurorehabilitation settings.

• Dysphagia training is essential.

• Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and interpersonal skills.

• A proactive and reflective approach to clinical practice.
