Role Summary and Impact

As an Analytics Business Director, you will be a senior leader responsible for driving the strategic direction and delivery of brand impact measurement for our key clients, particularly across 'Futura' (Android and Search) PAs. You will manage senior client relationships, ensuring their business objectives are met through robust data-driven insights. A critical part of your role will be leading, inspiring, and developing a team of 5 analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation through clear communication and regular contact, alongside effective resource and workflow planning. You will oversee the end-to-end analytics process, from measurement strategy to actionable recommendations, translating complex data into compelling narratives that drive significant business results.

Some of the things we’d like you to do:

  • Lead Senior Client Relationships: Act as the primary analytics point of contact for senior client stakeholders, understanding their business challenges and answering these objectively through approved measurement approaches.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 5 analysts, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality delivery of brand impact measurement projects.
  • Resource & Workflow Planning: Effectively manage team resources, allocate projects, and plan workflows to ensure timely and efficient delivery of all analytical initiatives.
  • Strategic Measurement Oversight: Drive the strategic development and implementation of brand impact measurement frameworks, for 'Futura' (Android & Search) PAs, ensuring alignment with client business goals.
  • Brand Lift Expertise: Leverage strong knowledge of Brand Lift studies across key platforms (e.g., YouTube, Meta, TikTok) to design, execute, and interpret campaign effectiveness.
  • Insight Generation & Storytelling: Oversee the analysis of complex data, transforming findings into clear, actionable insights and compelling PCA presentations for senior client and internal audiences.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with media planning, activation, and client service teams to integrate analytics seamlessly into broader media strategies and solutions.
  • Industry & Tooling Acumen: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, analytical techniques, and emerging tools to continuously enhance our analytics offering and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and strategic relevance of all analytical outputs and recommendations.

Experience: Experience in a marketing analytics, data insight, or related leadership role, experience in a client-facing capacity; agency or consultancy background preferred.

Leadership: Proven experience in leading, managing, and developing a team of analytics professionals.

Client Management: Demonstrated ability to manage and grow senior client relationships, translating complex analytical concepts into clear business implications.

Marketing & Measurement Foundation: Solid foundational understanding of marketing principles, campaign measurement, and the advertising and communications landscape.

Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to identify business questions, analyse data, and develop actionable, strategic recommendations.

Brand Lift Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and practical experience with Brand Lift studies across major digital platforms (e.g., YouTube, Meta, TikTok).

Communication: Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and persuade senior clients and internal teams.

Project Management: Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects simultaneously.

Desired:

Technical Proficiency: Experience with analytical programming languages (SQL essential; Python or R a plus). Proficient in data visualisation and presentation tools (Google Workspace experience would be beneficial).
