As an Assistant Product and Propositions Manager at Schroders Personal Wealth , you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development, enhancement, and management of our financial products and services. Your responsibilities will span across product lifecycle stages, from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory compliance, and client needs. You will have the opportunity to get involved with a variety of projects and contribute to our growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development and Enhancement:
Work with Product Managers to maintain, develop, and improve our products that are offered to clients
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and client feedback to identify growth opportunities.
Assist in creating solutions that balance commercial viability and client satisfaction.
Product Lifecycle Management:
Support the entire product lifecycle, including concept development, design, launch, and ongoing governance of the products
Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Client Office, , risk and compliance and operations ) to ensure successful product maintenance and execution.
Monitor product performance, track KPIs, and recommend adjustments as needed.
Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:
Adhere to regulatory requirements, ensuring product offerings comply with regulatory standards.
Minimize risk exposure by conducting thorough risk assessments and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
Communication and Collaboration:
Prepare and deliver presentations to internal stakeholders, including senior management.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective product communication strategies.
Foster strong relationships with colleagues, and external partners.
Market Trends and Industry Insights:
Stay informed about industry trends and client preferences.
Translate market insights into actionable product enhancements and strategic decisions.
Desired skills and experience:
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Understanding of financial products and investment principles
Experience of working in financial services
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics or related field is beneficial.
