Working hours: Monday – Friday, 37,5hours per week
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join their team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical services within a supportive and professional environment. The role involves working closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe, effective, and timely supply of medicines to the client’s patients.
What will your responsibilities be:
The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for supporting the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant protocols. Duties include maintaining stock levels, managing medication records, and assisting in the implementation of medicines optimisation initiatives. The role also involves liaising with clinical staff to support patient care and contributing to the smooth running of the pharmacy service.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- GPHC Registered Pharmacy Technician
- Experience in dispensary or ward settings
- Knowledge of MMT or ACT roles
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care
