Pulse is currently seeking an Acute Medicine & COE Occupational Therapist to join our NHS client’s dynamic team in London,Geater London. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract.
What will your responsibilities be?
You will be responsible for conducting assessments and developing personalised care plans for clients with acute medical conditions and elderly patients. You will provide occupational therapy interventions to promote independence and improve quality of life. You will also be responsible for collaborating with clients, families, and community resources to achieve therapeutic goals and participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to care planning.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Previous experience as an occupational therapist in acute medicine or care of the elderly
- Relevant degree/qualification in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Must acute hospital and at least 18 months post qualifying experience
