Working hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week
We are looking for a dedicated Band 6 Clinical Pharmacist to join our client's team in London. This role involves providing expert pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring safe and effective medication management. The successful candidate will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes through comprehensive medication reviews and personalised treatment plans.
What will your responsibilities be:
The Band 6 Clinical Pharmacist will be responsible for conducting medication reviews, providing clinical advice on drug therapy, and ensuring the safe dispensing of medications. This role includes educating patients and healthcare staff on medication use, monitoring patient progress, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings. The Clinical Pharmacist will also contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols, and engage in continuous professional development activities.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy and clinical pharmacy practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in conducting medication reviews and audits
- Commitment to continuous professional development
