Job Description:
We are seeking a Band 6 Locum Community Physiotherapist to join our team at Honor Oak Health Centre in Dublin. In this role, you will provide high-quality physiotherapy services to patients within the community, focusing on various conditions including orthopaedics, care of the elderly, respiratory issues, and musculoskeletal outpatient care.
What your responsibilities will be for this Physiotherapy role?
As a Band 6 Locum Community Physiotherapist you will conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in the community, identifying their physiotherapy needs and developing tailored treatment plans. You will implement evidence-based interventions to promote recovery and enhance functional independence in patients. You will monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care and support to patients and their families. You will provide education on self-management strategies and rehabilitation techniques to empower patients in their recovery. You will maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Must be a registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Must hold a relevant degree in Physiotherapy.
- Must have experience in community physiotherapy settings, particularly with orthopaedic, elderly, respiratory, and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Must demonstrate a commitment to providing patient-centered care and improving patient outcomes.
