We are currently seeking an experienced Locum Community Physiotherapist to join a dynamic team in London. This role offers a great opportunity to work across a variety of settings, including orthopaedics, care of the elderly, respiratory, and musculoskeletal outpatients. The position is available immediately, with a contract duration until 21st February 2025. You will be working full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
As a Locum Community Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing physiotherapy services across the community, treating patients in various settings, including their homes or local clinics. You will assess and treat a diverse caseload of patients, including those with musculoskeletal, respiratory, and orthopaedic conditions. You will develop individualized treatment plans, provide rehabilitation, and assist with mobility, strength, and function. The role will also involve working with elderly patients to support their rehabilitation and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring continuity of care and positive outcomes for patients.
Qualifications and Experience:
- HCPC Registration as a Physiotherapist
- Proven experience in community physiotherapy settings
- Experience in orthopaedics, care of the elderly, respiratory, and musculoskeletal outpatients
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Full UK driving license (if required for home visits)
