We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our team at Barts NHS Trust in London. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive physiotherapy services in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, treating, and planning care for patients across multiple specialties, including acute medical, neurology, respiratory, trauma, frailty, and cognitive impairments. This position requires strong clinical skills, the ability to manage complex cases, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
What your responsibilities will be:
As a Band 6 Physiotherapist, the role involves conducting thorough assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress. Providing hands-on therapy, exercise prescription, and education to support patient recovery is essential. Duties include managing complex case management and discharge planning, supervising junior staff and students, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintaining accurate patient records and contributing to the continuous improvement of physiotherapy services are also expected.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Degree in Physiotherapy
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in physiotherapy
- Experience in acute medical, neurology, respiratory, trauma, frailty, and cognitive impairments
- Strong skills in complex case management and discharge planning
- Ability to supervise and support junior staff and students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
