Rate: £30.57 per hour

The Birmingham Children's Trust is looking for a Social Worker to join their Duty and Assessment team, offering a pay rate of £30.57 per hour.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will conduct Section 47 enquiries with multiagency partners, prepare families for child protection conferences, and provide detailed legal planning reports. You will produce court reports, manage your caseload efficiently, and complete risk assessments and Single Assessments. Additionally, you will develop contingency plans to safeguard vulnerable children.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK licence
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Experience of working with vulnerable children and their families
  • Experience of working closely with statutory and voluntary agencies
